Theresa R. Farina Obituary

On December 1st at the age of 87, at her home in Wakefield, surrounded by her family, our beautiful Mother, Theresa R. Farina crossed over to a more peaceful place. Our mom had a smile that would light up the room, she was warm, caring and full of love, with a feisty spirit that made us laugh; she loved music, dancing, singing, laughing, cooking holiday meals for her family, famous for her turkey and stuffing sandwiches and meatballs. She loved being with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and will be missed forever. Devoted daughter of the late Vita (Maniscalco) Farina. Beloved mother to Susan Gornall, wife of the late Don Gornall of Juno Beach, Florida, Linda Gosselin and son-in-law Tom Gosselin of Southington, CT, Vita Trainor and son-in law Gordon Trainor of Stoneham, Theresa Ann Fitzgerald and son-in-law Sean Patrick Fitzgerald of Wakefield. Loving Nana to Susan Herget, her husband Jeffrey, Vincent Sumpter, Jr., his wife Mariam, Gordon Trainor II, his wife Betsy, Ryan Gornall, his wife Krystal, Danae Tinsley, Karly Trainor, Ross Gornall, Brett Marksberry and Gabby Fitzgerald. Loving Gran Nan to Samuel, Gillian, Andrew, Bryson Belle, Rowen, Hunter, Aubrey, Rydon, Pheraline, Sariah, Sorush and Noah. She is survived by her brother Richard Farina of Naples, Florida and Ruth Farina of Arlington, wife of the late Paul Farina. She joins her brothers and sisters who have passed before her Louis, Thomas, Mary, Michael, Joseph, Anthony, John, Ralph, Mary Branch, Dorothy, Helen, Lee, Ann and Rosalie. Further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
