James Lee Hayslette

James Lee Hayslette, 74, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Born November 12, 1947 in Bartley, WV to the late Carl Nunley Hayslette and Myrtle Missouri (Rife) Hayslette. James was of Baptist faith and he served the Lord many years at both Shenandoah and First Baptist of Inwood. He was a big fan of bluegrass music and was an outdoorsman. He is survived by three sons, James Nunley Hayslette of Bunker Hill, Tim Hayslette (Brandy) of Inwood, Mike Hayslette of Gerrardstown; one daughter, Cindy Petry (Steve) of Inwood; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ann Hensley, Margaret Selby, Nancy Bowers; and friend/companion Juanita Serra. Along with his parents, he was preceded by wife, Mable Ann Hayslette and brother, John Hayslette. Services will be held Saturday, December 4 at 2pm at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with visitation 1-2pm.
