Bobbie Joe Scott Obituary
Bobbie Joe Scott, of Comanche, Oklahoma, was born July 26, 1979 in Oklahoma City. She passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the age of 42.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, December 3, at 2:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home with Tanner Zumwalt officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
Bobbie grew up in Oklahoma City and attended school at Bishop McGuinness before moving to Marlow where she attended Marlow High School. She worked numerous jobs in Duncan and Marlow. Her most important job was that of stay-at-home mom for her three children. She enjoyed art and painting signs. She also liked to work in her garden. She watched ghost mysteries on television and loved going to scary places. Music was her passion and she especially loved songs that could make her dance.
Preceded in death by her father, Robert Vance, Bobbie is survived by her fiancé, Tonie Shahan; children: Madeline Pitts of Oklahoma City, Preston Pitts of Edmond, and Austin Scott of Duncan; brother, Phillip Vance of Houston, Texas; and sister, Crystal and Johnny Shahan of Comanche.
