It is with great sadness the family announces her passing in Sudbury, November 30, 2021 at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Albert and late Aurore (née Cholette) Marcotte. Beloved wife of the late Alger Lanthier. Devoted mother to Paul (Patricia and late Carol), Rosanne (Michel and late David) and Viviane (Jamie). Predeceased by her daughter Lina. Dear sister to Daniel (Diane) and Lisette (Donald). Predeceased by her siblings Stella (Richard), Madeleine (René) and André. Cherished grandmother of Christine (Steve), Daniel (Josée), Céline (Herb), Isabelle (Peter), Sophie, Mélanie (Ronald) and Palmela (Mickey). Great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren. She will be equally missed by all her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle boulevard, Sudbury, Thursday December 2, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will take place the following day at the St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church at 11 a.m. Masks will be mandatory and all social distancing guidelines must be respected.
