Elden Eldridge Jr.

Elden Eldridge Jr, 67, of Foster, WV, departed this life on November 29, 2021 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, WV.

He was born May 15, 1954 in Madison, WV, the son of the late Elden Eldridge and Chloa F. White Eldridge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willis H. & Macel C. White and Boyd & Elizabeth Eldridge and two brothers, Dennis Ray Eldridge and James Howard Eldridge.

Jr. enjoyed staying busy and loved his Dallas Cowboys.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Elden Eldridge III (Teresa) and Dustin Dale Eldridge; his companion, Darlene Eldridge; six brothers and sisters, Jerry L. (Marcelene) Eldridge, Macel E. Mitchell, Eldenda F. (David) Smith, Mary A. (Danny) Smith, Leonard Jay (Sharon) Eldridge, and Joseph Dewight (Missy) Eldridge; one grandchild, Savannah Marie Eldridge; two great-grandchildren, Carson Lee Gillispie and Sophia Rayne Christin; and nieces and nephews, Richard Eldridge, Jerry K. Eldridge, Johnny Eldridge, Ladonna Mitchell, Chloa Mitchell Myers, Rebecca Wheetley, Robert Mitchell, Jerry E. Eldridge II, Michelle Conley, Angie Blaylock, Davenia Myers, Loretta Epling, Michael Smith, Davey Jr Smith, Windy Stover, Charlena Eldridge, Chuck Eldridge, Halie Jo Eldridge, Tylor Eldridge and Skylar Eldridge.

Services will be held at 7:00pm, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Paul Eldridge officiating. Burial will be at Estep Cemetery, Big Ugly, WV on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00am.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Richard Eldridge, Jerry Eldridge, Dustin Eldridge, Leonard Eldridge, David Smith, Calvin Smith, Kevin Smith and Tylor Eldridge.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
