Karen Lind Ackerman born on March 31, 1956 peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 28th. 

 

Born and raised in Mahwah, NJ to then live in Warwick, NY with her family Richard, Kara, Bradford, Kendra, and Kailyn. 

 

She graduated from Mahwah High School, then continued her education at William Paterson University. She worked throughout college at Allendale Bar & Grill, then worked as a flight attendant and gym teacher. She then devoted her life and love to her four children as well as her two grandchildren Spencer and Kamryn. 

 

Karen lit up the room with her smile and laughter. She loved to dance and sing and make others laugh. She always did right and spread love and kindness to others and will be greatly missed. 

 

Family and friends will gather in her honor on Friday, December 3rd at 11:00am for her burial ceremony at the George Washington Cemetery in Paramus, NJ followed by a Celebration of Life at Allendale Bar & Grill at 12:00pm.
