Mary Turner Walker, age 80 of Tuscaloosa, passed away November 29, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Memory Hill Gardens at 1:00 pm with Bro. John Wiggins officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday at Magnolia Chapel South.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dewey Lee Walker, parents; Mona OLera Franklin Turner and Edwin Auston Turner, and her brother; Jackie Turner. 

Survivors include her stepdaughter; Cammie Flowers (Peter) of Huntsville, sisters; Lois Stephens, and Twilla Cummings both of Tuscaloosa, brother-in-law; Marshall Walker (Carolyn), sister-in-law; Jane Turner, grandchildren; Chase Brown, Jacob Brown (Alyssa), Dalton Brown, nephews; Scott Cummings (Mary Jo), Andy Stephens (Jamie), Paul Turner, Jonathan Turner (Cheri), Rachel Chamblee (Ed), great nephews; Austin Cummings (Bailey), Keith Stephens, great nieces; Samantha Atkinson (Logan), Savannah Chamblee, special friends; Nancy Stephens, Diane Simpson, and church members at Skyland Blvd. Baptist Church.

Mary graduated with a Masters Degree from the University of Alabama, she worked as a rehabilitation counselor and supervisor for the State Department of Rehabilitation for thirty three and a half years. She was a member of National Certified Rehab Counselors and a member of Skyland Boulevard Baptist Church. 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Skyland Blvd. Baptist Church.
