<p>FINNERTY, Dorothy I. (Patnode), 89, of Doray Drive, Hope, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.</p> <p>She was the beloved wife and best friend of her high school sweetheart, Raymond J. Finnerty.&nbsp; They were married on July 3, 1954.&nbsp; Born in Coventry, she was the daughter of the late Wesley H. and Delphine (Ducharme) Patnode.</p> <p>Dorothy was an assistant vice president/branch manager with Fleet Bank, later acquired by Bank of America and retired in 1992 after 35 years.&nbsp; She was a communicant of SS. Peter &amp; Paul Church in West Warwick.</p> <p>Besides her husband she leaves three children, Kim M. Baker and her husband Ronald, Karen L. Durand, and Brian R. Finnerty and his wife Kimberly M., six grandchildren, Janelle M. Adams, Nicole Citriniti, Alexandria Durand, Arissa Difillippo , Grayson Finnerty and Shelby Baker, and three great grandchildren, Ava, Giuliano, and Michael.&nbsp; She was a sister of the late Wesley J. Patnode. Half sister to Elaine Furtado and the late Marcia Cota.</p> <p>Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 am in SS. Peter &amp; Paul Church, 48 Highland Street, West Warwick.&nbsp; Interment will be private.&nbsp; Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to SS.
