Levi J. Troyer, 80, of 7651 Buss Road, Apple Creek, OH passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 1, 2021 after a sudden illness.

He was born in Holmes County near Millersburg on July 30, 1941 to Jonas and Elmina (Raber) Troyer.  On Nov. 30, 1961 he married Susan Miller who survives.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was ordained minister on May 1, 1977.

In addition to his wife, Susan; surviving is 2 son, 2 daughters and a daughter-in-law, David (Rebecca) Troyer of Shreve, Ivan (Vanessa) Troyer of Wooster, Laura (Leroy) Yoder of Wooster, Rosanna (Robert) Yoder of the home and the late Leroy (Marietta) Troyer of Fredericksburg; 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and his siblings, Katie (the late Andy) Miller, Amanda (the late Andy) Miller,  Anna (Joe) Troyer and Fannie (Dan) Hershberger and a sisters-in-law, Katie (the late Joas) Troyer and Bena (the late Joe) Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Leroy, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, siblings, Joas Troyer, Mary (Joe) Miller, Mattie (Joe) Miller and Ella (Henry) Troyer and brothers-in-law, Albert Troyer and Andy Miller

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at the Robert Yoder home with Bishop David M. Troyer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Troyer Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Robert Yoder Residence.  A special thanks to LifeCare Hospice for their assistance and care during Levi’s illness.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
