Hazel Wallace Watson, age 91, of Grapevine, passed away Sunday November 28, 2021.
Born June 23, 1930 at England, AR, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Wallace and Mary Harrison Wallace.
Mrs. Watson worked in production for White’s Auto Fisher for a number of years. She enjoyed growing flowers and raising all different kinds of animals. She also sold eggs in Grant County for a long while.
She was a former member of Oakland Baptist Church, and when the church moved, she was a charter member of Claud Road Baptist Church.
On July 1, 1950, she married Major Watson, who preceded her in death on May 9, 2000. She was also predeceased by a brother, Smith Wallace; and three sisters, Mather Watson, May Harness, and Ruby Wallace.
Survivors include three brothers, Henry Wallace, Earl Wallace, and Paul Wallace; three sisters, Nell Johnson, Mary Regions, and Francis Simpson; along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Chapel in Pine Bluff.
The service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Black Cemetery in Grant County.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
