Obituary

Calvin Aaron Siegle passed away on November 28th, 2021 at the age of 65. His loving and generous heart leaves a beacon of light for all who knew him.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Susan, his loving parents, Emil and Millie, his two sisters Lorraine and Judy and their families, and a multitude of friends.

Calvin loved a challenge, wasn't afraid of hard work, gave back where he could and could carry on a conversation with anyone about anything.  He was one of the first to build a feedlot and grow silage, successfully to the surprise of many people.  He loved the challenge of getting calves on feed and fed for customers in SK, AB and ON.  He gave back to his community in so many ways.  Being a 4Hleader for 10 years and 4H Regional Fair President for a few more years.  He encouraged many kids to love agriculture and animals.  He was an RM councillor for 10 years, Chairman for District 10 ADD Board, and currently served as a director for the MC Curling Club and Creekside Estates.

Calvin loved Susan, he loved his family and friends, and he loved the land.  For this one rancher the worries are over.  Lie down and rest your heart, your labour is done.  Your legacy lives on.
