Janice Marie McGee-Randle Obituary

Janice Marie McGee-Randle was born on December 24, 1969, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Hosea McGee, Sr., and Freddie Mae Kirby-McGee. Janice received her final wings on November 27, 2021, passing peacefully in her sleep after a year long battle with breast cancer.

Janice attended Sherrouse and Lincoln Elementary Schools, Carroll Junior High, Carroll High School, and Unitech Training Academy.

Janice was a dedicated and faithful worker at St. Francis Medical Center until a near-death accident in 2014 left her unable to work. Janice had a jolly personality and could light up any room. She loved children, although she never had any of her own. Janice enjoyed crossword puzzles, shopping, reading, and being on the Prayer Line. Janice loved her forever friend, her terrier dog, Tiny.

Janice was preceded in death by: her parents, Hosea Sr., and Freddie Mae Kirby-McGee; brother, Michael Dewayne McGee; and sisters, Debra Renee McGee and Shelia Renee McGee.

Cherishing her memories are: husband, Ira James Randle, two brothers Charles Edward Kirby-Rutley of California and Hosea McGee, Jr., of Slidell, LA; three sisters, Julia Marie Kirby, Stephanie Kirby Hunt, and Natasha Denise McGee, all of Monroe, LA; a special great-nephew, JaBraylin Jermaine Green; two greatuncles, Fred and George Belton; one great-aunt, Margaret BeltonJackson; one uncle, Alvin McGee; two aunts, Elouise McGeeNewman and Lois Jean Kirby-Grant of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
