Thank you.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Thomas Henry Lucas Jr. was born on November 12, 1937 in Fredericksburg, VA, the only child</p><p>of the late Thomas Henry Lucas Sr. and Jeannette Anderson Lucas. He was affectionately</p><p>known as “Tommy” or “Luke” to his family and friends. Tommy departed this earthly life on</p><p>November 26, 2021.</p><p><br></p><p>Tommy grew up between Mineral, VA and Fredericksburg, VA. He spent a lot of time with his</p><p>grandmother and eventually moved to Washington, D.C. with her.</p><p>He was employed at several dry-cleaning companies before retiring from Bergmann Laundry.</p><p>When boredom hit, Tommy returned to the workforce at Colonial Parking. Tommy loved the</p><p>Washington Redskins, listening to music on YouTube, and automobiles, especially Mercurys,</p><p>Fords, and his F150 truck. He and his grandson Malik, who he affectionally called “Buddy”</p><p>would spend time together going to the barbershop, eating, and sharing wisdom with one another.</p><p>Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Henry</p><p><br></p><p>He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Rosa Lucas, two stepsons, Mark of Temple</p><p>Hills, MD and Kelvin of Rancho Cucamonga, California, three grandsons- Adrian (Tina),</p><p>Armond, and Malik, one granddaughter Mercedes, three great-grandsons, Adrian Jr., Carlo and</p><p>Zane, a dedicated cousin William (Tony) Anderson and a host of family and friends.</p>November 12, 1937 - November 26, 202111/12/193711/26/2021
