<p>Clara Dean Humphrey Whitley, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Clara was born in Jones County on April 9, 1939 and was raised by her loving aunt and uncle, the late Clyde and Bea Humphrey. She retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. after over 35 years of service. Clara loved watching the hummingbirds in her yard and tending to her flowers. She enjoyed art, especially the work of Thomas KinKade and Bob Timberlake. In addition to her aunt and uncle, Clara was preceded in death by her grandson-in-law, Harvey Brannon. Surviving family includes her daughter, Robin Joyce Evans; three granddaughters, Kimberly Brannon and her son Keion Joyce, Kelly Jackson and her children Nolyn, Dylan and Riley Jackson, and Keonte Watson and her daughter, Ka&rsquo;Mya Harris; two great-great-grandchildren, Ayvah and Kingsten; special cousin, Sherrin Badger; and special nephew and niece, David and Lori Whitley. A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Randy Whitman officiating.
