Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Lonnie Cashi, II who died at 2:58 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 in Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation may be observed Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. Lonnie was born February 18, 1986 in Lafayette, LA. He worked most of his life in construction. He is survived by his parents, Lonnie Cashi and Kim Hanks Fontenot of Crowley; 2 sons, Alec and Kolby Cashi of Iota; 2 sisters, Heather Fontenot and Desiree Fontenot of Rayne; 5 brothers, Joshua Cashi of Crowley, Joseph Fontenot, III of Iota, Dillion Cashi of Mermentau; Lance Cashi of Mermentau and Nicholas Fontenot of Iota. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alodis Cashi and Elenor Touchette Cashi and his maternal grandparents, Kearney Hanks, Jr and Cheryl Monceaux Daigle.
