Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Claude Richard "Rick" Breedlove, 68 of Rockwell, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was born On June 12, 1947 in Davie County, son of the late William Henry Breedlove and Florence Correll Breedlove. Mr. Breedlove was a graduate of North Rowan High School and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He was a welder and truck driver for Mid-State Machine in Mt. Ulla. After retiring he drove escort for oversize loads. Mr. Breedlove loved the outdoors, camping, riding motorcycles and his favorite dog Marty. In addition to his parents, Mr. Breedlove is preceded in death by his brothers Billy Breedlove and Larry Breedlove. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Seamon Breedlove whom he married August 7, 1982; son, Michael Goodman and girlfriend Kimberly Yost of Rockwell; daughter, Jennifer Goodman Whitley and husband John of New London; grandson, Cody Whitley; sisters; Brenda Bost and husband Ken of Kannapolis, and Linda Ritchie of Salisbury; and extended family best friend, Ken Melton of Salisbury; and sons, Lenny Melton and wife Taska, and Lonnie Melton and wife Kym. The family will receive friends at Powles Staton Funeral Home on Sunday December 13, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. At a later date his urn will be placed at Rowan Memorial Park.
