Burgwyn "Mac" McKeithan

Burgwyn Armlon McKeithan "Mac" 70, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Mac was born on December 21, 1944 in South Port, NC, a son of the late John Crandel and Rachel Little McKeithan. Mac attended Acme Delco High School in Delco, NC; he worked for several different construction companies as a superintendent and foreman. Mac enjoyed wood carving, farming, metal work and restoring cars. In addition to his parents, Mac is preceded in death by is wife Peggy Ridenhour McKeithan; a daughter, Sandy Drew; 2 brothers and 2 sisters Mac is survived by his daughters, Elaine McKeithan Lawson of Salisbury, Jessie M. Brady and husband Roy, and Kimberly M. Chesney and husband Bill all of Gold Hill. Brother, Fred McKeithan of Shallotte; and sister, Shirley James of Rockwell. Mac is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild expected in the summer. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 12th at 3:00 pm at Brookhill Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Kenneth Prater, Associate Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church.
