Obituary
Earl Rodger Camlen, age 76, passed away November 28, 2021, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, surrounded by his family. Earl was born on April 2, 1945, to Samual Camlen and Dorothy Marie (Cheek) Camlen, in Brookfield, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he served in the US Army. He served in Vietnam and was in Alaska serving when the earthquake struck. The family heard the story multiple times about the horrible earthquake. Earl married Billie Margaret Tomlinson on June 11, 1977, at a family members home in Higginsville, Missouri. Earl met Billie while working as a CNA/CMT. He worked at Chastine Health Care for 35 years before retiring in 2008. Earl is survived by his wife Billie Camlen; children, Michele Camlen, Sedalia, MO, Edna(David) Ritchie, DeFuniak Springs, FL, Margaret (Eric) McCrory, Watertown, WI, Carlene Watson, Clinton, MO, Trinite Camlen, Clinton, MO; siblings, Carl Camlen, Brookfield, MO, Samual Camlen Jr., Brookfield, MO, Donna Davis, Brookfield, MO; and many other family and friends. He was preceded by his parents Samual and Dorothy Marie Camlen; daughter, Rustina Baumgarden; brothers, Donald Camlen, and Ronald Camlen. Family has asked that Memorial Donations be made to VFW Post 1894, in Earl Camlens memory. Those donations can be left with Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2ND Street, Clinton, MO, 64735. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Consalus Funeral Home.
