Passed peacefully away in the presence of loving family at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Vera B. Cashin of Harbour Grace, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Harold; son: Chris; great-grandson: Riley Cashin; parents: Dorman and Annie Rideout; brothers: Richard (Shirley), Gordon, and Donald (Odell). Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Joanne (Pat) Merrigan, Carbonear and Jocelyn (Edward) Thomey, Edmonton, AB; four sons: Wayne (Lois), Mt. Pearl, Tony (Lilian), Calgary, AB, Terry (Janet), Edmonton, AB, and Sean (Yvonne), Hr. Grace; daughter-in-law: Tara Cashin, Hr. Grace; fifteen grandchildren: Dana (Michael), Laura (Morgan), Melissa, Krista (Garret), Stephanie (Devon), Jennifer (Lorne), Allison (Chad), Jason, Blair (Jolene), Andrea (Cam), Lindsay (Orlando), Jaclyn (Nick), Jordan, Ryan (Jessica), and Cheryl (Andrew); twenty-three great-grandchildren; one sister: Doris White, Deer Lake; sister-in-law: Mabel Rideout, Ontario; dear nephew: Wayne Rideout and his wife: Madeline; special friends: Honorah and Bill Burton; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
