Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Winnie Carter Colvin, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday December 1, 2021 in Feazel Chapel at First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Dr. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment will follow at Unionville Cemetery in Dubach, LA Mrs. Colvin died November 29, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Colvin was a former member of Ridge Ave. Baptist Church and a member of First Baptist Church. She was an educator in the Ouachita Parish School System with over 25 years of service. Winnie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bobby Dean Colvin and her son, Boyd Colvin. Survivors: Daughters, Libby Colvin and Becky Colvin; Daughter-in-law, Linda Colvin; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Wednesday until services at Feazel Chapel’ Memorials may be made to the Lottie Moon Mission Fund or your favorite Missions charity.
