Kristine L. Wingate

June 21, 1965 – November 28, 2021

 

Kristine L. Wingate, 56 of Ottawa Lake, passed away from her earthly body into her heavenly mansion that has been prepared especially for her by our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Born on June 21, 1965, in Monroe, she was the daughter of Clarence W. and Susan (Adamowicz) Marietta. Kris met the love of her life, David Wingate, and they married on April 4, 1992. Together they raised three boys. Both, Kris and David, worked along side one another to raise their loving family. Kris came to know Jesus as her savior in 1990 and grew to love Him more and more over the years. As she grew in the Lord, her love for animals grew. David and Kris worked very hard to build a farm full of life and baby animals of all kinds. Kris worked many jobs throughout the years, including McDonalds, Target, Cracker Barrel, Jefferson Schools as a bus driver, and for a short period of time Chrysler.

Kris leaves behind her loving husband, David; her three sons, Tyler (Charlotte) Wingate, Aaron Wingate, and Andrew (Kara) Wingate; a grandson, Liam Wingate; mother, Susan; a sister, Kerri Mann; her two brothers, Bryan (Emmalee) Marietta and Nicholas (Leanne) Mann.

Sadly, she is preceded in death by her father, Clarence, and an aunt, Paula.

Family and friends may visit Friday, December 3, 2021, at Rupp Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm. A celebration of Kris’s life and her impact on our lives will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Rupp Funeral Home at 11am. We thank God for Kris and all the things she did for others and the example she set for us to live life with no holds barred.
