Leroy Milton Jeter

From the arms of his family, Leroy peacefully drifted into the arms of his Heavenly Father, on Thursday evening, November 25, 2021. Leroy Milton Jeter was born on April 14, 1951, in Nottoway County, VA, to Nannie Jeter and the late Leroy Jeter. The family relocated to New Haven, CT years later. He was educated in the New Haven Public School System and graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. He was a former member of Christ Chapel New Testament Church. Leroy was employed by Newton New Haven Diecast as a Machinist for many years. After many years at Newton New Haven Diecast, he spent most of his time with his family enjoying their ministry to him. Some of his favorite past times were family gatherings, watching Christian programming, the News and Family Feud. His life will forever be cherished by his wife of forty-eight years, Inez Jeter. His children will fondly remember their father, Ivory (Tevis) Blount, Faith Jeter, and Crystal (Junior) Prince. Leroy is survived by his mother, Nannie Jeter; sister, Elizabeth Jeter; uncle, Sye Lipscomb; along with sisters-in law, Gloria Jeter and Myrtis Ford. Leroy also leaves behind to cherish, his grandchildren, Brittany, Angel, TJ, Amaya, Whitley, Amari, Sevin, and Garrett; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Leroy was predeceased by his father Leroy Jeter; brothers, DeArthur Ford and James Jeter; and sister, Vera Jeter.
