Harold B. Fabricius August 13, 1927- November 24, 2021 Harold B. Fabricius passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born to Jacob and Christine (Kramer) in Fort Collins, Colorado on August 13, 1927. Harold joined the US Navy in 1945 and was discharged after recuperating from a serious accident which necessitated amputation of his leg. He later moved to Worland to work for the USGS. He then met & married Irene Hilda Hergert of Worland. Harold enjoyed fishing & gardening. Both of these pastimes are still enjoyed by his children and grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Irene and daughter, Lisa Price. He is survived by four children; Hal (Terry) Fabricius of Grand Junction, CO, Joan (Fwank) Fabricius, Beth (John) Schmeltzer of Helena, MT and Chris (Lisa) of Henry, NE; grandchildren, Paul (Ruth) Fabricius, Jack Fabricius, Matthew (Rani Scranton), Jake (Tina) Schmeltzer, Annie (Sonny) Beck, Sam (Laurel) Schmeltzer, Elly Schmeltzer, Paige Fabricius, Danielle Fabricius and 5 great grandchildren. Other survivors include Ann Gilbert, Karl Hergert, and Gary Hergert of Worland. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the spring of 2022.
