Mrs. Middleton was born on November 2, 1932 to Warren and Ethel Burrow Cox in Cotton Valley, LA and passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Cotton Valley, LA. She spent thirty years shaping the minds of children. She was a gifted teacher even winning several teacher of the year awards. She was an avid traveler and art collector. She loved to spend time with her family and beloved pets. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Everl Adair of Cotton Valley, LA; brother, Ellis Cox and wife, Joyce of Cotton Valley, LA and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Middleton was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John Cox, Wiley Cox,Vernon Cox, Everle Cox, Glynn Cox, and sister, Theo Trullinger, her first husband, William Butterworth, and her second husband, Joe Middleton.
