Diana Dunn Alagood

On November 27, 2021, Diana Dunn Alagood passed away peacefully at home at the age of 76 surrounded by her family. She was born April 16, 1945 in Daytona Beach Florida, the daughter of Edgar M. Dunn and Charlotte G. Dunn. Diana was a beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a passion for residential real estate sales and maintained her broker-agent license for 47 years. Active in community affairs, Diana was a member of the Tierra Verde Woman's Club and served as a Eucharistic minister for her church. She was a past member of her local planning and zoning board and past president of the Old Island Inn Condominium Association. A life-long Florida native, Diana enjoyed leisure time with her family and friends in the mountains of North Carolina, at Lake Sellers, and in the Florida Keys. In addition to her parents, Diana was predeceased by her brother Edgar Dunn. Surviving in addition to her husband, Joe Alagood, are daughters Amie LoCicero and her husband Kenneth LoCicero; Jane Schwefler and her husband David Schwefler; her son Jeffrey Alagood and his wife Amy Alagood; 8 grandchildren, Kendall Dohrn and her husband Austin Dohrn, Ethan LoCicero, Madison Schwefler, Dylan Alagood, Alexander LoCicero, Olivia Alagood, Anna Alagood, Ava Alagood; 1 brother Samuel Dunn and his wife Cherlyl Dunn; I sister Nancy Sweeney and her husband Grady Sweeney; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, St Petersburg, Florida. There will be a gathering at Jeff & Amy Alagood's house immediatley after, 2019 Michigan Avenue NE, St Petersburg, FL. Those who wish to remember Diana in a special way may make gifts in here memory to Tidewell Hospice at Tidewellhospice.org, the ALS Association at ALS.org or a charity of your choice. The Alagood family would like to thank all of our friends and family that helped make this last year a celebration of Diana.
