Dennis F. Brauer, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Joanne Brauer; his sons, James (Mandi) Brauer, Patrick Brauer and Philip (Alice) Gerkin-Brauer; his grandchildren, James Brauer, Jonathan Brauer and Adler Gerkin-Brauer; siblings, Kenneth Brauer, David Brauer and Carl Dean Brauer; his sister-in-law, Linda Moore. Preceded in death by his son, Thomas Brauer; his father, Carl Brauer; his mother Mary Gallimore and his sister-in-law, Rose Brauer. Visitation for Dennis will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. As it was Dennis’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
