<p>&nbsp;<span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:22px;"> &nbsp; &nbsp;EUNICE~ On Monday, November 29, 2021, Willie J. David, husband, father, grand-father, and friend passed away at Eunice Manor at the age of 81.&nbsp; A Celebration of Willie&rsquo;s life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 01, 2021, at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Deacon Church Ortego, officiating.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:22px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Willie was born on November 09, 1940, in Duralde to Plenny and Virginia Manuel David. He loved his trade as a welder and was always trying to invent and build something. &nbsp;His hobbies were building shrimp boats, crawfishing, and shrimping. But above all this he loved his family and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his loving wife of fifty years, Wilda David of Duralde; his three sons, Neal David and wife, Jennifer, Glen David and wife, Nichole and Kelly David and wife, Mamie all of Duralde; the joys of his life, his eleven grandchildren, Dylan Duplechain, Connor, Ethan and Lyla David, Bethany Andre, Katie David, Landri Young, Logan, Adilynn, Tanner and Gabriel David. Willie will also be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, and dear friends.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:22px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his grandson, Hunter David; parents; sisters, Mary Lou Bertrand, and Mary Louise Veillon and a brother, Willis David.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:22px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, November 30th from 1:30pm until 9:00pm and again on Wednesday, December 1st from 8:00 am until time of services.      EUNICE~ On Monday, November 29, 2021, Willie J. David, husband, father, grand-father, and friend passed away at Eunice Manor at the age of 81.  A Celebration of Willie’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 01, 2021, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Deacon Church Ortego, officiating.

     Willie was born on November 09, 1940, in Duralde to Plenny and Virginia Manuel David. He loved his trade as a welder and was always trying to invent and build something.  His hobbies were building shrimp boats, crawfishing, and shrimping. But above all this he loved his family and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his loving wife of fifty years, Wilda David of Duralde; his three sons, Neal David and wife, Jennifer, Glen David and wife, Nichole and Kelly David and wife, Mamie all of Duralde; the joys of his life, his eleven grandchildren, Dylan Duplechain, Connor, Ethan and Lyla David, Bethany Andre, Katie David, Landri Young, Logan, Adilynn, Tanner and Gabriel David.
