Marie Elaine Mullins, age 60, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Marie was born on June 4, 1961 in Ponca City, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Bill and Charlotte Estelle (Weathers) Stephens.  She was a 1979 graduate of Coweta High School.  Marie married the love of her life, Jack Leon Mullins on September 16, 1989 in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  She worked in the kitchen at Coweta Elementary Schools for several years.  Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, watching westerns, and shopping. 

Marie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jack Mullins of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; two children, Dannie Townley, Jr. of Shady Point, Oklahoma and Deana Oakes of Poteau, Oklahoma; three brothers, John Stephens and his wife Marla of Coweta, Oklahoma, Bill Stephens and his wife Marcia of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Tom Stephens and his wife Angie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Frances Thompson of Poteau, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Lacey Oakes, Micah Oakes, Madison Oakes, Matthew Townley, Jerry Dean Townley, and Mya Townley; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Charlotte Stephens and her sister, Cecilia Hall.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Graveside services celebrating Marie’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Lynn Moss officiating.
