Hubert Chasteen
Hubert Chasteen, Jr.,80 year's old. Born August 29, 1941. Went to his Heavenly Home November 29, 2021. Junior was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lynetta (Lamb) Chasteen, two children: Robin (Kenny) Harold, and Rodney (Tonya) Chasteen, one granddaughter: Kendra Harold. One brother: Wayne (Carolyn) Chasteen, 3 Sister's: Janet Ridgell, Joyce (James) Seals, and Darlene (Anthony) Abney along with several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Hubert (Sr.) and Anna Lee (Reppert) Chasteen, Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law: Dewey (Byrd) Lamb and Fannie (Lunsford) Lamb. One infant grandson: Kenneth Aaron Harold. Also, a dearly loved pet Chihuahua, Scooter. Junior was owner/operator of Chasteen Construction in Berea for 40+ years. Every chance he got he loved being outdoors, farming, and fishing especially in Bass Tournament's with his son Rodney. But more than anything in this world he loved his grand-daughter Kendra & his family. Pallbearers will be: Darryl Chasteen, Darrin Chasteen, Rick Adams, James Seals, Bill Brock, & Lonnie Pickle. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rodney Chasteen & Kenny Harold. Lakes Funeral Home (Berea) handled all arrangement's and burial will be in Berea Cemetery. Funeral Services will be private with close family only due to Covid concerns.
