Peggy A. (Stouffer) Boyd, 84, of Lurgan, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on April 4, 1937 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Otmer Frank and Anna Pearl (Coleman) Stouffer. Peggy loved to bowl, golf, and go to Walt Disney World with her grandchildren. She was also an avid walker and a social butterfly. Peggy loved cooking, baking, and sharing with family, friends, and neighbors. She is survived by her husband, Adrian L. Boyd of Lurgan; three sons, Robert L. (Diane) Boyd of Lurgan, Rick N. Boyd of Newburg, and Eric L. Boyd of Lurgan; eight grandchildren, Ryan C. (Amber) Boyd, Brandon L. Boyd, Scott J. Boyd, Jill N. Caldwell, Amy J. (Curtis) Richie, Jodi (Scott Eckenrode) Boyd, Corey Boyd, and Daysha (Matthew) Coons; 25 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Roy Stouffer and Judy Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Esther Diehl, Lloyd Stouffer, Lester Stouffer, Grace Jones, Donald Stouffer, and Fred Stouffer, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Lynne M. Boyd. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating. Interment will follow in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Monday.
