Ima Jo Barks

Ima Jo Barks age 88 of Marble Hill, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Stone Bridge of Marble Hill, Missouri. She was born July 29, 1933 in Patton, MO; daughter of Vernon and Mary Seabaugh Green. She and Lester H. Barks were united in marriage on November 2, 1951 and he passed away on December 19, 2016. Ima Jo and Lester owned and operated the Sunset Flower Shop for 36 years. A member of the New Salem Baptist Church where she served in the Nursery for 30 + years. She is survived by her sons Gary Barks of Hartford, Illinois; Larry Barks of Marble Hill, Missouri; brother Arvel Green of Millersville, MO, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband Lester and parents. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Salem Nursery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
