Andy Dean Hall was born August 6th, 1934 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Verta Lee (Parrott) and Russell Joe Hall. He passed away Sunday, November 28th, 2021 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 22 days. Andy grew up in the Elk City area and attended school at Canute. He graduated high school in 1952 and began his career ranching working for various ranches and cattle companies. He could also be seen on the rodeo scene with Butler Brother and Charlie Plummer. Andy held other jobs at Pickett Propane driving a truck and Coca-Cola but his passion all of his life was working on a ranch. He spent the majority of his life working with horses, and even had his own business of training and shoeing horses. He was the "go-to" for any issues they might've had. He also owned and operated the Horse Motel in Elk City. Andy's hobbies, interests and work were all combined with horses which he continued until his retirement in 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Hall; an infant grandson; sister, Betty Meadows. Andy is survived by his wife, Eunice, of the home; 2 daughters, Gwen Davidson and husband, Jerry, Hobart, OK, Andrea Collins and husband, David, Elk City, OK; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; 2 sisters, Phyllis Austin and Zenith Sturdivant and a host of other relatives and friends.
