<p>Dorothy May (Keeney) Seaton, 97, a lifelong resident of Manchester passed away November 29, 2021 at Touchpoints after a brief illness.&nbsp; She was born in Manchester, August 2, 1924, daughter of the late Jesse and Harriet (Olin) Keeney.&nbsp; Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Meadows Convalescent Home in Manchester as a secretary and bookkeeper for 17 years.&nbsp; Among her hobbies were cross stitch, reading, playing cards, building jigsaw puzzles, bowling, and gardening.&nbsp; She is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth B. Seaton and infant son, Glenn. Dorothy is also predeceased by three brothers, Lester, Albert, and Erlis and two sisters, Thelma, and Aceynath. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dennis DesSureault of Manchester; her granddaughter and grandson, Amy (DesSureault) Wilcox and CDR Jeffrey Wilcox, USN currently stationed in Yokosuka, Japan; her loving great-grandsons, Ryan and Andrew Wilcox; a sister, June Hany of South Windsor and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday December 4, 2021 11 a.m., at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home 400 Main St., Manchester.&nbsp; Burial will be in West Cemetery, Manchester.&nbsp; Friends and family may call Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association 5 Brookside Dr. Walliford, CT 06492, Beacon Hospice Care 111 Founders Plaza Ste 1802 East Hartford, CT 06108, or a charity of the donor&rsquo;s choice.
