Mark Tonn Obituary

Mark Elwood Tonn was born on November 25, 1968 to Lorin & Betty Tonn at the Preeceville hospital. Mark attended Preeceville school until the end of grade 10 and later received his GED. Mark worked at various jobs in and around Preeceville as well as in Alberta and in the Northwest Territories. He worked as a farm equipment operator, loader and heavy equipment operator, logger, semi truck driver and hunting guide. Mark was diagnosed with acute kidney and liver failure as complications from diabetes and after a courageous battle, he passed away on Friday, November 26 at the U of A hospital in Edmonton.

Mark was predeceased by his dad Lorin Tonn, grandparents Eddie and Alice Tonn and Bill and Helen Osatiuk and most recently his uncle Dennis Osatiuk. Mark is survived by his sons, Rylan and Noah (Natasha Fey) and their mother Tracy Penner, his mom Betty Tonn, sisters Norleen (Perry) Bork, and Karie (Ryan) Becker. He is also survived by his nephews Brayden Bork and Lucas Becker and his nieces Bailey (Sean) Kolodziejski, Tanis Bork, Avery (Matthew) Peters, great niece Brynn Peters and great nephews Drew and Owen Peters and Carter Kolodziejski.

Memorial donations may be made to Preeceville Minor Hockey (P.O. Box 501, Preeceville, SK S0A 3B0) or to the Preeceville Lions Club [(Memo Line: Lions Family Trail) c/o Box 283 Preeceville, SK S0A 3B0] as gifts or remembrance. The family also encourages everyone to consider signing their organ donor cards as a special remembrance in honour of Mark.
