<p>Funeral services for Marvin Colvin, 74, of Start, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Start Baptist Church, Start, LA with Bro. Bobby Magee, Bro. Jeff Thomas, and Bro. Cody Albritton officiating. Interment followed in the Start Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.</p> <p>Mr. Marvin was born September 3, 1947 in Start, LA and passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Start, LA. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Allyson Renea Colvin; sisters, Myrtle Hickman and Judy Dutile; and his parents, Euel and Bernice Colvin.</p> <p>Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Wanda Colvin of Start; children, Richard Alan Colvin and wife, Sarah of Start and Elliot Douglas Colvin and wife, Christina of Start; grandchildren, Shelby Colvin, Ellainey Colvin, Zachary Colvin, Allie Colvin, and Millie Colvin all of Start; and his numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Pallbearers were Delbert Crow, Charles Hogan, David Moore, Allen Nettles, Charles Perry, and Jerry Smith.
