Audie Dean Barry

Audie Dean Barry, age 65, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at his home. Mr. Barry was born December 28, 1955, in Washington, DC, to Johnnie Vernon and Eleanor Vacarro Barry. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary L. Barry; half-brother, John Dempsey; grandparents, Herb and Crystal Capper. He loved sports, especially Ohio State Football. He attended Flint Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held 12:00 P.M., Friday, December 3, 2021, at Miller Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Souther and Rev. Roger Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service, at Miller Funeral Service. Mr. Barry is survived by; his spouse, Vicky Barry, of North Wilkesboro; daughter, Alison Barry, of Huntington, WV; son, Tyler Barry, of Gallipolis ,OH; step-son, Chris Riggins, of Titusville, FL; grandchildren, Caden Glassburn, Mason Glassburn, and Jackson Glassburn, all of Huntington, WV, Azalea Barry and Alyza Barry, of Gallipolis, OH; step-grandchildren, Preston Riggins and Olivia Riggins, of Titusville, FL; step-brother, Paul Burgess, of Virginia; step-sister, Vickie Burgess, of Virginia; half-sisters, Ginger Rodgers, of Athens, GA, and Patricia Rodgers, of Washington, DC; and half-brother, William Rodgers, of Washington, DC.
