Graveside funeral services for Mr. Mack L. Raspberry, age 92, are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Mr. Raspberry, a retired farmer and member of Harmony Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of ninety-two. He was honest, and a hard working man who would give you the shirt off of his back, along with his last dollar. Mr. Raspberry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His nieces and nephews nicknamed him “Smiley”. He was a man who always enjoyed a good joke. He is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Gladys Raspberry; daughters, Sherron Coley and husband Jerry, Lisa Blackwell and husband Kevin; sons, Johnny Raspberry and wife Shirley, Kenneth Raspberry and girlfriend Jamie Nichols; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and caregiver, Heather McKoin. Mr. Raspberry is preceded in death by his parents, John Walter and Hazel Sue Raspberry; granddaughter, Kelli Coley; brothers, Huey Long Raspberry, Miller Raspberry; daughter-in-law, Diane Raspberry; special brothers-in-law, Samuel June White and Donald Ray White. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
