Dover, NH – Mildred L. Cote, 94, of Dover passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021. With her daughter by her side. She was born on June 7, 1927. Mildred was the daughter of the late Clinton and Lena (Hamel) Durant. Mildred moved to the Dover area in 1943. She married the sweetheart of her life in April of 1945. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a woman of great faith, and she was a member of St. Mary Church in Dover. Mildred loved having family around especially the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. She loved gardening in the flowers and taking daily walks around the neighborhood. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her daughters Marie and Richard Mayrand of Alaska, and Pamela Cote and her significant other Scott Needham of Springvale, ME; her grandchildren Jeffrey Mayrand, Jason and Theresa Mayrand, Justin and Denise Mayrand, Jamie and Rebecca Mayrand, and Heather and Eric Shepard; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great grandchildren. And two brothers Arthur (Jim) and Robert Durant as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband of 76 years, Saul Cote; and her brothers, Hollis, Richard, Walter, Russell and sisters Gertrude Marston-Brown, Ethel Small, Grace Brown, Martha Janvrin, June Chase as well as one great-great grandchild.
