Gary George Lindsey (83) died Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 12:00am in Tualatin, Oregon. Gary was born December 12, 1937 in Letcher, South Dakota to George and Emma Lindsey. Gary loved playing basketball and baseball as a kid. His favorite team was the New York Yankees. Gary married his high school sweetheart, Lila Faye Davis, on June 6, 1957. The two were each other’s lifelong companion and friend. They were blessed with four children. Gary is survived by his children: Kimberly Jarrard (Lindsey), Jerry Lindsey, Larry Lindsey and Shari Moritz (Lindsey); five grandchildren: Lindsey Sirois (Jarrard), T.J. Jarrard, Bobbi Anderson, Emma Lindsey and Josh Lindsey; five great-grandchildren: Taylor Sirois, Callen Jarrard, Sawyer Sirois, Oliver Sirois and Casen Jarrard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila; brother, Denny and sister, Mary. Gary will especially be remembered for his love of the 49er’s and the New York Yankees. He loved golfing and landscaping his yard. His greatest love, though, was his family and his presence will be missed in the dugout and in the stands, but we know he will always be cheering us on. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 22000 SW Meinecke Parkway Sherwood, OR 97140.
