Nan Kathleen Tillman, age 84, left this earth for her Heavenly Home on Friday, November 26, 2021, in Fort Worth, TX. Kathleen was born January 11, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas to James Tom Ricketts and Myra Lee (Brown) Ricketts. Kathleen was a member of New River Fellowship Church in Hudson Oaks, TX and of The Quilter's Guild of Parker County. She, along with her husband Daniel Oliver Tillman, were past members of the Texas Shorthorn Cattle Association. Kathleen was employed as a registered nurse until her retirement. She was an avid and award-winning quilter and seamstress. She designed and created costumes and clothing for dolls, was a published pattern maker, and won several competitions for her designs and sewing skills of which she was very proud. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by her son, Steven Daniel Tillman, and by her brother, Johnny Ricketts. Left to cherish Kathleen's memory are her daughter, Dana Kathleen Tillman of Weatherford, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Paula Tillman of Cleburne, TX; daughter-in-law, Donna Tillman of Weatherford, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Ron Hansen of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren - Amber, Natalie, Patrick, and Minta, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to any of the following: Weatherford/Parker County Animal Shelter, Parker County Committee on Aging, or The Quilter's Guild of Parker County.
