Debra I. Dunican, 52, of Wolcott, beloved wife of Matthew E. Dunican, died on Tuesday (November 23, 2021) at St. Mary Hospital, Waterbury. Debra was born on May 21, 1969 in New Britain and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lois (White) LaBarre. She was raised in Bristol and formerly lived in Bristol before moving to Wolcott.
She enjoyed caring for her children and was a second mom to many.
Debra leaves six children: Joseph, Emily, Elizabeth Morin, Rachel LaBarre, Cameron and Benjamin Dunican; a sister: Maureen Lafland; five grandchildren: Zoey, Lilyann, Calvin, Jr., Jacob Thomas, and Wyatt; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant son, Austin Dunican.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday (December 2, 2021) between 10 AM and 12 Noon at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, who has the honor of serving the family.
