Lawrence Robert DeLuca

Lawrence Robert DeLuca passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at his home in Perkiomenville, PA. He was 82. Mr. DeLuca was a former resident of Plymouth Meeting, PA. He was a graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick High School and worked as a truck driver and warehouse worker for Gretz's, which was formerly Mirabiles. Lawrence was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA. Lawrence was also a member of the Teamsters Union #830. He loved hunting and fishing and was a big fan of all Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies. Born in Norristown, PA on September 12, 1939, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Carfagno) DeLuca; and the husband of the late Anna M. (Ranieri) DeLuce, who died in 2020. Surviving is his loving family including a daughter, Lori A. (Scott) LaCava of Perkiomenville; two sons, David D. (Deborah) DeLuca of Lower Providence and Lawrence DeLuca of Philadelphia; five grandchildren: Dominic, Alyse, Amanda, Jacqueline and Makenzie; two brothers, Joe (Ruth) DeLuca and Danny (Annamarie) DeLuca; a sister-in-law, Angela "Angie" DeLuca; a sister, Debbie Tracy; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by brothers: Angelo and Leonard DeLuca. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 9 to 9:50 am; with his Prayer Service starting at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King Of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lawrence’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 30386, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or www.donate3.cancer.org and/or the family would like a tree planted in Lawrence's memory which can be ordered through the tribute store on his obituary.
