Paula Dawn Novotney May 6, 1953 – November 23, 2021 Paula Dawn Novotney passed away on the evening of November 23, 2021 at the age of 68. It is with heavy hearts and warm memories that we say goodbye to our loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. Paula is survived and forever loved by her husband, Dennis Novotney, daughters, Dawn Leischner (Ben) and Loni Parks, brothers, Brian Sahli and Lon Sahli (Roxanne). She was a wonderful grandmother to Ainsley, Jackson, Olivia, Aspen, Wade, Blakely, Naia, Landon, Calli, Canon, Annabella, Payton, Oliver, and Finley. Paula was born in Tacoma, WA to Walter and Phyllis Sahli. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1971 and Pacific Lutheran University in 1975. Her love of fashion started at a young age while making her own clothes and earning a place on The Bon Marche fashion board. She was a dedicated employee at Macy’s for 39 years. After retirement, she devoted her days to taking care of her family. She loved being with her grandchildren. Her interests included golf, cooking, and vacations with family. Paula enjoyed a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, friends, and most importantly, family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
