MARGARET ROSE FUREY 1941 - 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Rose Furey announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 80 years old. Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, David L. Furey; her parents, Bridget and Anthony Butler; parents-in-law, Theresa and David E. Furey; siblings, John Butler, Elizabeth Seymour, Mary Martin, Anne Green, Angela Brousseau, Theresa Klowososki, Christina Tucker, Marie Fyfe, Florence Dwyer, Sheila Butler, Philomena Butler, Catherine (Kitty) Butler, twin brother, Micheal Butler, and in-laws, Kay Murphy, Marjorie Furey, Tom Furey, and Ursula Brophy. Left with fond and loving memories are her children, Lisa Furey, Peter Furey, and Laurielynn Kennedy (Paul); grandchildren, Justin Furey (Kayla), Jonathan Furey, Nicholas Kennedy (Michelle), Cameron Pollett, Jennifer Furey (Shane), and Ethan Furey; great-grandchildren, Luke Penney, Ellie Furey, Lila Furey, and Beau Kennedy; in-laws, Marjorie Butler, Sandy Fyfe (Cathy), Gertie Dunphy (Ron), and Mary Furey; along with a large family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Father Moses Nwokocha will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bishop’s Falls, NL on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes. The Furey family wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement. A very special thank you to her amazing at home workers who went above and beyond to provide the best care for our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
