Stephen Stanley

Stephen Stanley, 77, of Middletown passed away Sunday November 28, 2021 at his residence after courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 20, 1944 in New Castle to the late Jesse and Florence Mae (Toloday) Stanley.
Stephen served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a Tool and Die maker at Guide Lamp and retired after 20 plus years of service. Stephen was a hardworking man and a loving family man who loved to cook, fish and go camping. He was a walking Thesaurus and hard headed. Stephen enjoyed playing card games with friends and taking motorcycle trips with Mary. During the construction of Mary and Stephens home they worked on the home themselves completing many of the inside projects. 
Stephen is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Stanley; daughters, Rebecca (Gerald) Tuterow of McKinney Texas and Patricia Stanley of Middletown; granddaughter, Jade Fisher; great grandchildren, Ashton, Alaina, Mackenzie, Dylanie and Nevaeh and brother, Eric Stanley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Webb; son, Aaron Stanley and sister Nancy Sansone.
Visitation will be Thursday December 2, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a celebration of life at 7:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Middletown Chapel.
