Lincoln and Hermon - It is with deep sadness that the family of Michael Kervyn Broderick advises of his passing November 22nd at his home in Hermon. He was born June 29, 1953, the son of Richard and Fay Broderick. Mike graduated from Mattanawcook high school in the class of 1971 and for a time he attended the University of Maine and served as a police officer on campus. He also attended Maine Maritime Academy but decided what he really wanted to do was to paint and restore cars. Michael is survived by his mother Fay Broderick of Lincoln, brothers Richard Broderick Jr., of Lincoln, and Paul Broderick and his wife Stephan of Florida, daughter Erin of Florida, step-son Lenny Smith of Bangor, together with Nieces and Nephews and Cousins and the triplets whom he adored. Michael was happy to have so many good friends including Martha, Steve, Scott, Mike Dube, Larry, Ray, Teddy and all the wonderful people he spent weekends with at camp. He very much enjoyed fishing and feeding and watching birds. Michael was an especially kind person. He was loved and he will be missed. Because of the weather, graveside services are tentatively planned for Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 1:00 pm. The family thanks you all for your love and kindness.
