Jeffrey M. McQuaid passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence in Lower Providence, PA. He was 36. Jeffrey was a teacher for Radnor Middle School for almost 6 years, where he also coached soccer and track. He received his Master’s degree in education from Villanova University. Jeffrey was a very active person who enjoyed the outdoors, including running, cycling and traveling. He had wanted to retire to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. He absolutely loved being a teacher, so much that he would also tutor. Jeff loved all animals, but he especially loved his cat, Miss Kitty. He was a helper and a friend to many. Born in Norristown, PA on February 16, 1985, he was a son of Maureen (Kelly) McQuaid and the late John J. McQuaid. Surviving is his loving family including his mother, Maureen; his brother, John J. McQuaid; two sisters, Jennifer Shainline (David) and Jillian M. Charles; nephews: Jacob, Connor, Collin and Christian; niece, Elise; as well as many other loving family members. In addition to his father, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marie (Wagner) and John P. Kelly, and Elsie (Stilfield) and John J. McQuaid. Relatives and friends are invited to Jeffrey’s viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 12 to 1:30pm, with his funeral service starting at 1:30pm.
