The death of Darrell J. Wheaton of New Avon, NB occurred Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB on March 29, 1949 he was the son of the late Wilfred Jordan and Marilyn (Wheaton) Ackerson. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years Betty (Legere) Wheaton; sons, Justin (Giselle), Jody (Stephanie), Aaron (Tammy); grandchildren, Brock, Ryan (Merissa) Jesse, Tanner, a very special granddaughter his partner in crime his “Honey, baby girl” Makayla; two special great granddaughter, Amelia & Lilah; brothers, Dale (Ruth) and Kevin; sisters, Terry Piper and Cheryl Sartoris; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Bock and Dr. Chase and the wonderful Nurses on 3S. At the request of Darrell, no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Diabetic Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
