Clifford Lee Fagen, 90, passed away November 21, 2021 in Waco, Texas. Services will be December 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Waco Lake Shore United Methodist Church with Pastor Carl Freeto officiating. Refreshments will follow the ceremony. A “Celebration of Life” is being planned for January 15, 2022, specific time and location to be announced. Clifford was born in Valley, Kansas, March 11, 1931. He grew up in Kingman, Kansas; he entered military service for the United States Marine Corps in 1949. He married the love of his life, Gloria Lee Paulson, on June 7, 1952 in Santa Monica, CA. Clifford served in both Korea and two tours in Vietnam, where he was field-commissioned as an officer; he was awarded many distinguished medals for his service, including the Purple Heart. He and his family dedicated a total of 29 years in service to the nation, after which he retired in the rank of Major, United States Marine Corps. Following military service, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Baylor University in 1985. He worked for Outdoor Advertising and then Lochridge Priest where he retired in 1998. His hobbies included: woodworking, playing golf at The Lake Country Club, serving as a devoted member of Waco Lake Shore United Methodist Church, enjoying many ocean cruises with his wife, and spending time with his beloved family. Clifford is preceded in death by his mother, Florence Price-Ramsey; his father, Richard William Fagen; and his sister, Carol Sparks. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Lee Fagen; his son, Donald Fagen, and wife, Barbara Fagen, of Longboat Key, FL; his son, Richard Fagen, and wife, Pamela Fagen, of Waco, TX; his granddaughter, Kristen Hobbs, and husband, Weldon Hobbs, of Colorado Springs, CO; his granddaughter, Jenna Haralson, and husband, Beau Haralson, of Erie, CO; his granddaughter, Jenifer Hutchinson, and husband, Scott Hutchinson, of Aquilla, TX; his grandson, Bryan Fagen, and wife, Doshira Fagen, of San Antonio, TX. His great-grandchildren include: Addison Hobbs, Elisha and Emelia Haralson, and Sayre and Briley Hutchinson.
