It is with great sadness the family of Hilda Marie Connelly announce her unexpected passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 26, 2021.  Hilda was born in Saint John.  The blessed miracle of Hilda being found after 42 years was the greatest blessing to all the family.

She was a very kind soul who looked after her mother and loved her family by helping out where she could.

She is survived by her loving mother and father Doris and Ken Bailey, fiance Jack Beddow, sisters; Debbie Blinn, Brenda Roy, Betty Lou Roy, and Shelley Kay (Dwayne), her nieces and nephews; Tammy Blinn (Michael Bowland), David Blinn, Logan Bowland, Jeffery Roy, Aaron Barrett-Kay, Amy Barrett-Kay, April Barrett-Kay and Wesley Driscoll, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Hilda was predeceased by her nephew Christopher Roy, her grandmother Annie McGaghey as well as her beloved pets Angel and Winnie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home,  230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  A gathering to celebrate Hilda with family and friends will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 1pm – 4pm at the Fundy Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those 12 and older attending the visitation will be required to wear masks, show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID.
